Based on the current consensus, SackSummit 8 will be held on the weekend of June 28th in the Raleigh, NC area. More details are available on the Summit wiki page and in #sackheads.

Any objections to the date should be made ASAP!

Just a friendly reminder to everyone about the Summit page on the Sack wiki:

There are sub-pages here for each summit (including Summit 8, which is still being planned).  There’s also an “Ideas” page here for listing/discussing any ideas for future summit locations.

In case you somehow missed it, jpayne and melissa are getting married in July! This event highlights a 4-dayish event that will be known as Sacksummit 7. It will take place in Boston, in the Peoples’ Republic of Massachussetts. Join #summit for more information, or for leads on getting a fake passport.
