This is one of my first experiments manually setting up the camera. The trampoline is an excellent spot to play with stopping motion. As it’s early evening and the trampoline is in the shade of the house, I’ve used an ISO setting of 800. Shutter speed is set to 1/2000sec, probably faster than I needed, but I love how clearly Megan’s hair is visible as she bounces.
While other people complain about me taking their picture, or have to look at me, Alex is more than happy to carry on about his business and lets me snap away.
This is one of the first pictures I’ve taken with my new camera. For our 10th Wedding Anniversary, Linda gave me a Canon Rebel XTi. She gave it to me a little early so I could figure out how to use it before our trip. I think she got a little tired of me snapping her pic.
