Oh yeah. The dopamine production just kicks into high gear when you realize you’ve got just the thing for this situation, and you’ve finally got a use for it (it’s been sitting around for years waiting for this moment, of course!)

The good news is that computer junk eventually gets so worthless that even I have no problem getting rid of it. I pity the folks who collect mechanical things that have a much longer usable lifespan.

Thanks for the tip, chime. I saw that very post when I was Googling the other day, which is what really made me realize that it wasn’t just me. Looks like a fun blog; I’ll check it out more.
